- May 30, 2019
The beginning of June also marks the beginning of the festival season in the city. Of course, every year, more and more events mark the calendar and it can be difficult to navigate. That is why Accès International suggests the following blogs and websites to help you plan your summer efficiently and not miss anything. You should bookmark them!
MTL Blog et Narcity
The first in English and the second in French, MTLBlog.com and Narcity.com are cousins websites that address all essential lifestyle issues for the active city-dwellers. Culture, restaurants, bars, concerts, festivals, and other activities, they miss nothing!
Hyperactive on social media, here is where to find:
Online since 1995, Nightlife.ca (only available in French) is definitely one of the pioneers in web culture coverage in Quebec. Even today, Nightlife.ca is at the forefront of trends and offers the must for concerts, festivals, exhibitions, activities. The site also offers all the essential addresses for trendy epicureans.
"NIGHTLIFE.CA is THE online reference regarding Montreal's urban life. Learn about music, fashion, the cultural scene, and where to go when the night comes."
SorsTu.ca (only available in French) is a must for everything related to cultural outings in Montreal, but also elsewhere in Quebec, and it's been like that for almost 10 years!
"Sorstu.ca offers a complete calendar of shows in Montreal, Quebec, and everywhere else in the province. Also available are cultural news, interviews, contests, and reviews."
Tourisme Montréal, official website
It is not strictly speaking a blog, but the official website of Tourisme Montréal, Mtl.org, is the place to find all the activities of the moment, from the most popular to the most underground. With its many interactive maps and its most intuitive navigation, discovering the site is almost as interesting as discovering the city!
"Tourisme Montréal is a private, non-profit organization that works to position Montréal as one of the most attractive cities in North America, recognized around the world for being an open, exciting and creative destination. The organization leads innovative tourist welcome strategies with a twofold objective: ensuring that visitors enjoy a high-quality experience and maximizing the economic benefits of tourism. Uniting more than 900 tourism industry stakeholders, Tourisme Montréal plays a leading role in the management and development of Montréal’s tourism offer and makes recommendations on issues with regard to the city’s economic, urban and cultural development."
That being said, June is also a month dedicated to finding the perfect furnished rental. Accès International is here for that!
