How do I submit my property

To submit your property for rental, you just fill in the standard form « Submit property » on our site, including digital photos of each room and the exterior of the property.

Owners FAQ

Can I choose the renters myself?

Accès International will find the renters for your apartment, based on financial and security guarantees in order to ensure your peace of mind. You can always provide us with your preferences before the reservation and the profile of the tenant will be shared with you before the signature of any rental agreement.

Can I choose the rent of my apartment?

Our team will guide you through the estimate for your apartment. With your agreement, we will help you propose a rent that is both profitable and which meets current trends in the rental market.

I don’t want pets in my apartment, is it possible to prohibit it?

Yes, of course. Please let us know your preferences when you meet with your advisor from Accès International.

I want my apartment to remain non-smoking. Is this possible?

Of course. Like for pets or any other specifications, all you have to do is let us know, during your first meeting, so that we can list this information in your apartment description and then find renters that fit your criteria.

When do I receive the rent?

We transfer rents monthly via bank transfers or regular cheques. We will transfer your rent within the timeframe stipulated in your contract with us.

My apartment is empty. Can I put it up for rent on

If you would like to take advantage of the Acces International formula, you will have to furnish and equip your apartment, as we specialise in furnished rentals. However, we can help you put your unfurnished or semi-furnished property up for rent via the OACIQ using a real estate agent on our team.

What happens if a renter breaks something in my apartment? Who pays?

Before reception of the keys, a renter provides a guarantee deposit to the agency. In case of damage in the apartment, a portion of the deposit is paid to you in order to make repairs.

Do renters need to be insured?
Yes, renters must be insured for civil liability.
Do I need to supply linens (sheets and towels)?

Yes, please make sure that you supply linens for renters based on our clarifications.

My apartment is not close to downtown. Is it still possible for you to rent it?

Please contact us using this form. Some renters prefer being in calm and/or residential sector, which others close to restaurants and downtown activities. So yes, we can help!

My apartment is furnished but not equipped. Can I still rent my property?

We only rent furnished and fully equipped apartments, as it is an essential criterion for short term to long term furnished rentals.

Is it possible to rent my apartment by week or for a weekend?

We only offer apartments for rent by the month. However, please contact us and we can discuss it and help guide you.

My apartment doesn’t come with a parking space. Is this a problem?

Not necessarily, but you have to indicate this in when making your offer.

I would like to let you rent my apartment, but I am not sure if I am authorized to rent it.

If your condominium forbids temporary rentals, it should be noted in the building’s rules. If it is not noted, contact your condominium board and they will be able to inform you.

Can I leave valuable objects in the apartment?

While our renters leave a guarantee deposit, we strongly suggest that you do not leave valuable objects in the apartment that are not important for the renters, for example jewelry or valuable decoration.

Does the apartment need access to the internet?

Yes. If you do not already have access, please contact us so we can provide you with the information on how to connect your apartment.

Can I only rent a room in the apartment, and stay in the rest?

No, this is unfortunately not possible. For the well-being and tranquility of our clients, we only rent entire apartments.

I would like to ensure that my apartment is as comfortable as possible. What should I do?

We can help you in case of renovations or when furnishing. Sometimes it doesn’t take much to transform an ordinary apartment into a comfortable and warm one! We’ll be happy to answer all your questions, either by email, telephone or fax.

Tenant FAQ

Why choose a furnished apartment rather than a hotel room?

There are several reasons. First, a furnished apartment, especially for longer stays, will always cost you less than a hotel room. Additionally, you’ll be much more comfortable than in a hotel room, and feel like you are “at home.” For example, if you stay at a hotel, you won’t be able to cook your own meals.

Are all the apartments fully equipped and furnished?

Yes, because we know that you are travelling, that you are looking for a liveable place to stay without having to make additional purchases.

Are all your apartments located downtown or close by?

Yes. We make the effort to list apartments that are close to the best neighbourhoods and main thoroughfares. We know that you want to be close to the “action,” and minimize as much as possible your transportation costs.

Is it possible to rent an apartment online?

Yes. Once you have chosen your apartment, all you have to do is click the “More Information” icon and we will contact you shortly.

Can I rent an apartment for a week or a weekend?

No. The minimum stay is one month.

Do I have to clean the apartment before leaving?

We ask that our clients ensure the apartment is in the same condition as when they arrived before leaving.

Do the apartments have internet connections?

Yes. We know that the internet is indispensable for your work and for you to keep in touch with your friends and family, and that is why all our apartments have high speed internet access.

What should I do if my stay will be longer than expected?

If your stay will be longer than expected, please contact the agency ASAP in order to prolong your agreement (based on availability).

Are sheets and towels included?

Yes, we supply all the necessary linens based on the number of people staying and the length of the stay.

I have to move in in three days! Is it possible to reserve an apartment at the last minute?

If the apartment is still available, we will be happy to welcome you as a new renter! You can call us by phone to check availability and make your reservation.

My trip was cancelled, what should I do?

If you can’t move in to the apartment that you reserved, please contact us ASAP by phone, email or fax.

Are smokers authorized in your apartments?

Rules concerning smokers vary based on the building and the owner’s wishes. Please inform us of your preferences when making the reservation so that we can provide you with the necessary information.

Can I bring my dog (or other pet)?

Again, this depends on the apartment. Please let us know if you intend to bring a pet when discussing a rental with an advisor from Accès International.

Which area of Montreal should I choose?

Very good question! If you want to be as close as possible to your business, the map found in the rental descriptions will allow you to make the best choice. If you want to know which neighbourhoods are the best, opinions differ depending on taste! Contact us today and we’ll help you choose a neighbourhood that fits your needs!

How do I receive the keys?

When you arrive, an agent will meet you to inspect the apartment. You will then be provided with your keys to your new temporary home.

I made an error in my arrival (or departure) time, what should I do?

In case of changes, please contact us ASAP by telephone.

Do I need to be insured?

Yes. When renting an apartment, you will need proof of civil liability insurance in case of accidents or damage.

Who should I contact if there is a problem with the apartment?

Accès International will provide you with the contact information in case of emergencies or problems during your stay. We also have an emergency number in case of accidents.

Do I need to go to the agency to pick up the keys?

Most of the time we will meet renters in the buildings where they reserved.
